Indoors
The indoor environment consists of large bright age specific rooms with separate sleep and changing/toileting facilities. Rooms are equipped to meet the needs of the children within each individual age-group thus ensuring that children experience activities which stimulate their stage of development.
Observations allow us to monitor children progress and plan opportunities to promote active learning therefore we are constantly reviewing and revising materials and equipment provided.
We are currently implementing the Quality Programme from the Border County Childcare Committee in our Preschool Playgroup and are also using their quality principles in other areas within the setting. All children are welcome regardless of race, religion, gender or ability.
